Commonly patients are referred to our practice by their regular general dentist or other dental specialists.  A referral  will help provide us with valuable insight and history into the problems that have developed within your mouth. Your regular dentist or referring specialist will also have radiographs with will be useful in assisting with the diagnosis of your problems. Even if these radiographs are not current they will be important  in understanding the pattern of the disease progression. After your treatment is complete we are happy to work in with your regular dentist for reviews of your treatment progress.

For patients that do not have a regular dentist, a referral is not essential to seek a consultation with a prosthodontist.

Any previous study models, radiographs or X-rays and photographs that may be available are often useful to be brought to your consultation. If any of the information is out of date by more than 12 months updated records are usually required.
